I came by UX a little unconventionally.
I was a catering and events coordinator for much of my career. If you’ve attended events before, you likely know that the best events have a flow... with intro, climax and conclusion. You have to move people through each part of the event in a manner that feels natural and seamless. Making sure each interaction meets or exceeds guest expectations is a way of life.
UX is a marriage of science and art that I find really fulfilling. It is both service and technical; both left-brain and right. It’s a wonderful balance. As a tinkerer, I usually end up tweaking products I interact with to make my life or the lives of others easier. I often ask myself ...
How can we make this
I find these puzzles fascinating and simplifying tools and processes is a passion. I also have a little background in software engineering and some in design, so I love examining a problem that is people-focused and generating ideas to make meaningful changes in service of those people.
